This policy explains how information is handled when you use The Coachman Restaurant & Lounge website or contact us through it.
Information you provide
Job applications collect contact information, availability, employment preferences, work history, referral details and any résumé or additional information you choose to submit. Catering inquiries collect contact information, event dates, locations, guest counts, service preferences, budgets and other event details. You may also choose to tell us about food allergies or dietary needs.
Please provide only information needed for your request. Do not include Social Security numbers, payment card information, medical records or other unnecessary sensitive information in website forms or attachments. If you provide someone else’s contact information, make sure you have permission to do so.
How information is used
Application information is used to review candidates and communicate about employment opportunities. Inquiry information is used to answer questions, plan events and communicate about requested services. Information may also be used to address technical problems, security concerns and applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Services that process information
The website is hosted by Vercel. Application and catering forms use FormSubmit to process submissions and deliver them to management email accounts. Email services, including Yahoo for job applications, process and store those messages and attachments. These providers handle information under their own policies.
Using these forms sends the information you enter to those services. You can contact us by phone if you prefer to discuss your request without submitting a website form. The website does not publish applications or catering inquiries as public website content.
Technical information and browser storage
Hosting and form providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times and security logs to operate their services. The website uses browser session storage to remember when a visitor dismisses a promotion. The private admin editor also uses session storage for its login during that browser session.
The current public website code does not load advertising pixels or a third-party visitor analytics script. Linked services may use their own cookies, tracking or analytics when you visit them. This policy will need to be updated if the website’s tracking or services change.
Sharing links and external websites
“Know someone interested?” opens an email draft in your email app. The recipient’s address and your message are handled by your email service. Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Storage, retention and requests
Submitted information and attachments may remain in management email accounts and provider systems. Retention depends on the purpose of the submission, applicable recordkeeping requirements and the provider’s practices. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction or request deletion, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law.
No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
